Galactic Zoo Dossier is the debut studio album by British rock band Kingdom Come, also known as Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come. The album incorporates acid rock, progressive rock, and jazz rock. The album is a departure from the sound of lead singer Arthur Brown's previous band, The Crazy World of Arthur Brown,
The album was largely recorded at Rockfield Studios and released by Polydor Records in 1971. Despite being a commercial failure upon release, it has been regarded as an overlooked masterpiece in recent years. Marco Rossi of Record Collector said that "1971's Galactic Zoo Dossier is a sparkling and heroically explored acid rock that is at times startling.

Green Bullfrog was a one-off studio project, recorded between February and May 1970. The album was the brainchild of producer Derek Lawrence, who assembled a group of musicians he had worked with in the 1960s. It was originally released in 1971.
The album used pseudonyms for contractual reasons. The album was a commercial failure. The musicians were eventually confirmed to include Deep Purple's Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Paice, Procol Harum's Matthew Fisher, Chas & Dave's Chas Hodges, and session guitarists Albert Lee and Big Jim Sullivan.

Two Leicester rhythm and blues bands, Jim King and The Farinas, formed one of the most exciting formations of the late 1960s and early 1970s, Family. Despite never achieving star status, the band is one of the defining progressive bands of the era. They quickly became critical favorites and attracted a large fan base with their music. The two defining figures of this unique sounding music are Roger "Chappo" Chapman and Charlie Whitney, who pioneered the double-neck Fender guitar. An Argentine band founded by singer and actor Rubén De León. Their music was a mixture of rock, blues and "comedy". The band released a single in 1973, followed by their only quartet (1973, RCA Victor AVS-4204). In 1974 they recorded the rock opera Yogurt, but RCA refused to release it. The band disbanded shortly thereafter.
El Tapiz Mágico is a slow-tempo pop-rock song from the album, which is not typical of the album.
