Young Flowers were a Danish psychedelic / progressive rock trio, formed in Copenhagen in the summer of 1967 by Jens Dahl lead guitar (ex-The Defenders), Peter Ingemann bass, vocals (ex-Peter Belli & Seven Sounds)  and Ken Gudman drums (ex-The Defenders)... After the release of the single, Jens Dahl left the band due to health issues, and was replaced by Peer Frost (ex-Les Rivals) on lead guitar.

Rick Nelson formed The Stone Canyon Band in 1969 to transition from his teen idol persona to a respected country-rock musician. The original lineup featured Randy Meisner (bass, later of the Eagles), Tom Brumley (steel guitar), Allen Kemp (guitar), and Patrick Shanahan (drums). Key albums include In Concert at the Troubadour (1969), Rick Sings Nelson (1970), and Garden Party (1972).  Nelson died in a plane crash in 1985, and while the band’s name was officially dropped after 1975, the group remained a staple of his live performances until his death.

The Wilson McKinley formed in Spokane, WA, in 1968, originally comprised of singer/guitarist Mike Messer, singer/bassist Don Larson, guitarist Randy Wilcox and drummer Tom Slipp. The band released several albums influenced by Christian lyrics and mixed with the hippie psychedelic rock that was going on back in the late 60s and early 70s.... In the summer of 1971, the band released its second LP, the critically acclaimed "Spirit of Elijah." Canadian rhythm and blues and soul band from the 1960s.

The group started as The Rogues, renamed themselves to The Five Rogues and to Mandala in 1966. Mandala disbanded in 1969, after which Troiano and some of the other members formed the new band Bush. 

Mandala released one and only LP Soul Crusade in 1968, which is a mix of wild-eyed organ soul, heavy R&B and fuzzed-out garage sounds.

Company Caine, were an Australian progressive rock band. They were formed in March 1970... First album "A Product Of A Broken Reality" on Generation Records. They used the TCS Studio, it was produced by Gus McNeil and engineered by John French. The album reached the top 40 on the Kent Music Report Albums Chart. Australian musicologist, Ian McFarlane, described the album as a milestone of the early 1970s progressive rock era as their music was more expansive, more out there than just about every band of the day.

Sweet Thursday is the debut, and only, album by British rock band. The album was originally released in the US in August 1969 on Tetragrammaton Records. The album was recorded at Trident Studios in London. It is notable for featuring keyboardist Nicky Hopkins and Bluesbreakers alum Jon Mark. The album's style mixed typical mid- and late-1960s British rock elements such as R&B, blues and psychedelia.

Love Affair were a London-based pop and progressive rock group formed in 1966.

The Everlasting Love Affair is the debut studio album by the English band. Released in December 1968. The record blends psychedelic pop, blue-eyed soul and psychedelic rock, with vocals by Steve Ellis. The band's lack of confidence in songwriting led to the album consisting of covers. Ellis later felt that Love Affair had run its course, and he left in December 1969 for a solo career.

The Moody Blues were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in May 1964. The group initially consisted of Graeme Edge (drums), Denny Laine (guitar, vocals), Mike Pinder (keyboards, vocals), Ray Thomas (multi-instrumentalist, vocals) and Clint Warwick (bass, vocals). Originally part of the British beat and R&B scene of the early to mid 1960s, they came to prominence with the UK No. 1 and US Top 10 single "Go Now!" in late 1964 early 1965. Laine and Warwick both left the band in 1966, with Edge, Pinder and Thomas recruiting new members Justin Hayward (guitar, vocals) and John Lodge (bass, vocals). They embraced the psychedelic rock movement of the late 1960s....

Ramatam was an early 70s American rock band with lead guitarist April Lawton and singer and guitarist Mike Pinera (formerly of Iron Butterfly) on vocals and guitar. Mitch Mitchell of The Jimi Hendrix Experience played drums on their 1972 selftitled debut, produced by legendary Tom Dowd. Internal quarrel led to Mitchell and Pinera leaving before the recording the 2nd and final album, "In April Came The Dawning Of The Red Suns", recorded as a trio in 1973. In 1974 the band collapsed due to inner and outer pressure about the band's direction.

Carlos Michael Pinera (September 29, 1948 – November 20, 2024) was an American guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer who started professionally in the late 1960s with the group Blues Image.  After the breakup of that group, he joined Iron Butterfly, and later formed the group Ramatam. Pinera was then the founding member of the band New Cactus, a later incarnation of the band Cactus. He was the lead guitarist for Alice Cooper from 1980 to 1982.

John Kay (born Joachim Fritz Krauledat, April 12, 1944) is an American rock singer, songwriter and guitarist. Forgotten Songs & Unsung Heroes is the first solo album from Kay. It was released on Dunhill Records in 1972.

Kay was well known as the lead singer of the band Steppenwolf. His first solo album contained a mixture of rock songs and country songs, including a number of covers.
