Psychedelic Pop, Blue-Eyed Soul
The Almost Complete Recordings 1966 to 1974 is a 23-track compilation by the Los Angeles pop-psych band The Glitterhouse, originally issued as a homemade CD-R in 2002 by keyboardist Moogy Klingman (later of Utopia) on his Moogy Music label essentially a band-approved, unlabelled bootleg that was later reissued as a proper 2006 CD. It gathers the band's only studio album Color Blind (1968, produced by Bob Crewe), three cuts from the Barbarella soundtrack, early 1966–67 fairy-tale singles ("Rumplestiltskin", "Alice in Wonderland"), the 1967 "New York Blues" audition tape, 1968 in-house demos, and 1974 reunion demos cut at Secret Sound (the studio Klingman shared with Todd Rundgren).
