Arzachel released one album in 1969. This band was the reformation of Uriel who had changed its name to Egg in January 1969 after the departure of their guitarist Steve Hillage. Since the members of Egg had just signed an exclusive deal with Decca when they were offered to record a psychedelic album by another label, they reunited with Steve Hillage under the name Arzachel in June 1969. On the released LP the band members used pseudonyms. The A side has four songs, while the B side consists of only two mind-bending psychedelic tracks, the longer of which is a 17-minute jam entitled "Metempsychosis". It was issued on the short-lived Evolution label and quickly became a collector's item. A pirate version is thought to have circulated in the late 1970s, and it has been much bootlegged in more recent years.

Cupid's Inspiration are a British pop group formed in Lincolnshire in 1968. They were predominantly active between 1968 and 1971. The band realising they could not achieve commercial success with mainstream music forever changing, disbanded in October 1968. A few months later, in early 1969, Terry Rice-Milton and Roger Gray reformed the band with Bernie Lee on guitar and Gordon Haskell on bass and released their only album to date...

US late 60s psych band from Evansville, IN. The album was released by local label Gigantic Records. Some sources report 100 copies pressed, but the band remembers there being many more than that, though the bulk of the pressing seems to have disappeared. Their only album, combined with the fact that the music is atmospheric psychedelic rock with a rural/country flavor, has made it an expensive collector’s item.

Mike McGuyer, Alan Jones and Bobby Strehl later became members of B.F. Trike.

Náttúra, progressive rock band band from Iceland, led by its founding members guitarist Bjorgvin Gislason and bassist Sigurdur Arnason. They became very popular, playing in local clubs. Gislason and Arnason remained the only members and a new formation was formed in 1971. Harvest label are available in a package of five CDs entitled Taking Some Time On: The Parlophone-Harvest Years (1968-73). The five discs include demos, non-LP singles, B-sides, outtakes and several BBC live sessions. 

Barclay James Harvest was founded in Saddleworth, Yorkshire, UK in September 1966 by John Lees (vocals, guitars), Les Holroyd (bass, guitars, keyboards, vocals), Stuart 'Woolly' Wolstenholme (1947-2010, vocals, Mellotron, keyboards, guitars) and Mel Pritchard (1948-2004, drums, percussion). They signed a record contract with EMI's Parlophone-label for one single in early 1968, but soon they moved to the progressive Harvest-label. Their eponymous debut album was released mid-1970 and got positive reviews, but few sales. The second album Once Again (1971) gained more favourable reviews....

Cuby + Blizzards, also known as Cuby & The Blizzards, were a blues rock group from the Netherlands, founded in 1964 by vocalist Harry Muskee and guitarist Eelco Gelling. During the 1960s, the band's mixture of sound, drawing upon a variety of genres which included blues and rock and roll, gave them a pioneering sound which was completely different from any other Dutch band in the same period.

The Masked Marauders was not made by the famous musicians it purported to feature (Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison), it was a hoax orchestrated by Rolling Stone magazine editors Greil Marcus and Langdon Winner. 

The actual recording was performed by the Berkeley-based band Cleanliness and Godliness Skiffle Band, who provided vocal impersonations and instrumental backing. The album was released in November 1969 on Warner Bros. newly created Deity label (distributed by Reprise), following a satirical review Marcus published in Rolling Stone that convinced fans and retailers a real supergroup existed.
