The Original Wicked Lester Sessions is a bootleg release of Wicked Lester's 1972 album for Epic Records, which was never officially released. The album was recorded over a period of months when time was available at Jimi Hendrix's newly built Electric Lady Studios. A master tape cover shows the date October 15, 1972.  When the album was completed and presented to Epic, its A&R director Don Ellis refused to release it. Wicked Lester members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons left the group and formed a new incarnation of Wicked Lester, soon recruiting drummer Peter Criss and guitarist Ace Frehley and changing the newer group's name to Kiss.

The debut album Daddy Who? Daddy Cool! by the Australian rock band Daddy Cool was released in July 1971 on the Sparmac label.
It was the first Australian-recorded album to reach number one nationally, where it stayed for seven weeks and became the first Australian LP to sell over 100,000 copies. The album was recorded at Armstrong Studios in Melbourne and produced by Robie Porter, who also contributed piano and steel guitar. It achieved gold status within a month of its release...

Bolder Damn is a hard- psychedelic rock band from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, that was formed in 1967 under the name Souls Image. in 1969, the band changed its name to Bolder Damn.
Recorded an album at Hyperbolic Studios in a single day's session. "Mourning" was pressed only in 200 copies and the originals are now amongst the rarest vinyl artefacts. Following the release of the LP the band disbanded.

Ancient Grease was a Welsh band, formed from the local cover band Strawberry Dust, which featured Gareth "Morty" Mortimer (vocals), Jack Bass (bass), Dick "Ferndale" Owen (drums), and Graham Williams (guitar).
The band's sole album, Women and Children First, was recorded in 1969–1970 at Rockfield Studios, with Weathers acting as producer and contributing significant songwriting, including the opener "Freedom Train" and the closing title track.

Muleskinner is the eponymous debut album by the progressive bluegrass group Muleskinner, recorded at the Record Plant, Hollywood, California, between March 27 and April 14, 1973, and released later that year. It is their only studio album. The band, formed as a one-off group for a televised celebration of Bill Monroe's music on February 13, 1973, after Monroe's bus broke down and he could not attend, featured a supergroup of prominent musicians including David Grisman (mandolin, vocals), Peter Rowan (guitar, vocals), Clarence White (acoustic and electric guitar, vocals), Richard Greene (fiddle, vocals), Bill Keith (banjo, pedal steel), John Kahn (bass), and John Guerin (drums). The album was initially released under the title Muleskinner but was later re-issued on compact disc in 1994 under the title A Potpourri of Bluegrass Jam, a reference to the banner on the original album cover.
