Southern Rock band from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Formed 1969 by George Ratzlaff, disbanded shortly after their last album release in 1979...
Although the second album was scheduled to be completed in May, it wasn't until August that Potliquor completed work on Levee Blues, and the LP was released at the end of 1971.

  1. You have no idea. These guys were huge when I was a kid; biggest thing in BRLA. Leon Medica, who I knew later, was a nice guy and it is beyond amusing to see two of my dad's old poker playing buddies, Dinos Constantinides & Ted Brys, in the credits. Who knew. I do remember when Ted played an electric cello for a Isaac Hayes show at the Assembly Center, lol.
