Southern Rock, Hard Rock, Arena Rock
In 1970, Spencer Kirkpatrick founded the overlooked southern rock band Hydra in Atlanta, Georgia. During their seven years together, Hydra released three studio albums: Self Titled, Land of Money and Rock the World. As you might expect, Hydra never hit the mainstream. However, in the south, they were a top-tier regional southern rock band.
