Narumo Shigeru, Japanese guitarist and keyboardist. Born Tokyo 29-Jan-1947, died 29-Mar-2007.
Shigeru Narumo was a well known Japanese musician, grandson of the founder of the Bridgestone tire company, who became involved with Greco in the mid 70's. He worked with the brand to improve the designs, and especially include features that would make the guitars more comfortable for the Japanese musicians, like a belly contour, and slightly thinner necks than the original inspiration. Also he was the one to suggest having bridge humbuckers with no covers. Greco EG-800S Shigeru Narumo Model.
