Blind Faith were an English rock supergroup that consisted of Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech. They followed the success of each of the member's former bands, including Clapton and Baker's former group Cream and Winwood's former group Traffic, but they split after a few months, producing only one album, originally released in the United States on 9 August 1969 and a three-month summer tour.

Leroy "Roy" Buchanan (September 23, 1939 – August 14, 1988) was an American guitarist and blues rock musician. A pioneer of the Telecaster sound. He never achieved stardom, but is considered a highly influential guitar player. Several studio, live and compilation albums were released. Even after her death.
In 2004, Guitar Player listed his version of "Sweet Dreams," from his debut album on Roy Buchanan, as having one of the "50 Greatest Tones of All Time." In the same year, the readers of Guitar Player voted Buchanan number 46 in a top 50 readers' poll.

Hookfoot was a British rock band, active from 1969 to 1974. The band was formed by Caleb Quaye (guitars, piano and vocals) and three fellow DJM Records session musicians, Ian Duck (vocals, guitars and harmonica/ born 1944 in Gosport, Hampshire), Roger Pope (drums/ born 20 March 1947 in Whitstable, Kent, died 18 September 2013 in Southampton) and David Glover (bass).

Black Oak Arkansas is an American Southern rock band named after the band's hometown of Black Oak, Arkansas. The band reached the height of its fame in the 1970s, charting ten albums. The Hunter is a studio album by Ike & Tina Turner released on Blue Thumb Records in 1969 and Outta Season is a 1968, released on Blue Thumb Records in the US.
*The Hunter is one of Ike & Tina's most blues oriented albums. It was cut during the blues revival period of the late 1960s. The Hunter boasts several fine blues workouts in which the Stax sound figures prominently. The album features electric blues guitarist Albert Collins. This masterpiece earned Tina Turner her first solo Grammy nomination. 
*Outta Season is a heavy blues album produced by Tina Turner and Bob Krasnow.
The album contains the track "I Am a Motherless Child," which is based on the spiritual "City Called Heaven". The first single, "I've Been Loving You Too Long," peaked at No. 68 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Billboard R&B chart in April 1969. The second single "Crazy 'Bout You Baby" was only released in the UK.
