Horn Rock

"Elijah actually traces its roots to The Ever-Breen Blues band, who recorded a pair of late-60s albums, 7 Do Eleven and Comin' On. By the early 70's the band had morphed into Elijah, expanding the line-up to an eight piece with the addition of second keyboardist Jim Morris. They released two albums in the early 1970s: self-titled in 1972 and Elijah Fanfares in 1973. The band toured extensively in support of the albums, opening for a wide variety of acts ranging, but with minimal promotion from United Artists, the albums did little commercially amazing given the popularity of early 70's horn rock."
