Máquina! ...Funciona! (2004) Wah Wah Records - LPS015

MP3/320Kbs/182MB
Proto-Prog, Psychedelic Rock

"Maquina! ...Funciona!" is a double vinyl edition released in 2004 by Wah Wah Records, which compiles rare and unreleased material from the Catalan band Máquina!, formed in the late 1960s. This limited and numbered release contains session recordings from 1969 and 1970, including tracks such as "Thank You," "Fragment from the 1st Tempo of Symphony #1 by Enric Herrera," "Chains," "Thoughts of You Parts 1 and 2," and "Blues in F," among others. The album is considered by critics to be a fundamental work for understanding the band's artistic potential, as it recovers material that was never released at the time and offers a more faithful vision of what their original "Why?" album, also known as "Croissant with Mustard," could have been. The edition includes an extensive booklet and a vintage poster, making it an essential piece for collectors and enthusiasts of Spanish progressive rock.
Màquina! was a Spanish prog rock and psychedelic rock group from Barcelona. It was formed in 1969 and disbanded in 1972. They were pioneers of progressive rock in Catalonia and Spain and their first album Why? is widely considered one of the most memorable Spanish prog rock albums from the 70s.
