1966 Small Faces - Decca (2CD Box Set)
1967 From The Beginning (2CD Box Set)
1967 Small Faces - Immediate (2CD Box Set)
1968 Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake (3CD Box Set)

Deluxe editions of The Small Faces' four albums on 9 CDs. The albums in question are Small Faces (Decca) released April 1966, From The Beginning (Decca) released June 1967, Small Faces (on Andrew Oldham’s Immediate label) released June 1967 and Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake (Immediate) released June 1968. Featuring mono & stereo versions, remastered reissues, rare outtakes, many bonus tracks taken from including alternate mixes, alternate backing tracks, different versions etc.
Small Faces (Decca): There were very few people in the UK who hadn t heard of the Small Faces in the UK in the late 60s. This, their debut album was a smash hit when released in 1966. It includes the hit singles Whatcha Gonna Do About It and Sha-La-La-La-Lee. The surviving members Kenney Jones and Ian McLagan have overseen the remastering of this double disc album. The second disc features rare outtakes, versions and mixes and the new booklet features sleevenotes by respected music writer Mark Paytress.
From The Beginning: New 2012 remastered Mono reissue of 1967 second Decca album expanded with 21 bonus tracks including alternate mixes, alternate backing tracks, different versions etc.
Small Faces (Immediate): New 2012 remastered reissue of their 1967 album on Immediate Records featuring both mono & stereo versions! Includes 17 bonus tracks taken from alternate mixes etc.
Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake: The two-act concept album consisted of six original songs on side one and a whimsical psychedelic fairy tale on side two relating the adventures of Happiness Stan. It is a seminal album and has appeared in All Time Greatest album polls by the likes of Q and NME and appeared in Mojo s Hall of Fame. The Guardian described it as a groundbreaker, but not just because of its circular sleeve or its psychedelic concept - it was more far-out than that: by unleashing such a split-personality array of songs, such as Lazy Sunday, Rollin' Over, Afterglow, Rene and Happydaystoytown, the Small Faces left listeners at the very crossroads of rock and pop.

Johnny Otis Show - Cold Shot & Snatch And The Poontangs (1969/2002) Ace Records - CDCHD 855

MP3/320Kbs/173MB
R&B (Rock, Soul and Funk influences)

Two 1969 albums by Otis and his band are combined onto one CD here, though the second of the pair was credited to Snatch and the Poontangs. Though Cold Shot, credited to the Johnny Otis Show, wasn’t much different from the straightforward R&B he’d been doing for years, it did have some updated rock, soul, and funk influences, due in large part to the presence of his teenage guitarist son, Shuggie Otis.
Snatch And The Poontangs aliased as "The Hawk, Prince Wunnerful and The Mouth", the three members in this group are in fact drummer and legend bandleader Johnny Otis, his son, guitarist Shuggie Otis and vocalist Delmar "Mighty Mouth" Evans. The group released one album of explicit "adult" blues songs in 1969, that over the years generated cult status.
