*Ennio Morricone (10 November 1928 – 6 July 2020) was an Italian composer, orchestrator, conductor, trumpeter, and pianist who wrote music in a wide range of styles. With more than 400 scores for cinema and television, as well as more than 100 classical works, Morricone is widely considered one of the most prolific and greatest film composers of all time.

This garage-driven heavy psychedelic band formed in 1968 out of the ashes of the Marc 5 and Sonix in Colonia, NJ. They captured the changing times and sociological upheaval of the pre-Woodstock Nation and like the Jefferson Airplane and Neighb'rhood Childr'n. It features a dynamic female lead vocalist Nanette DeLaune alongside swirling organ, wah-wah guitar, and fuzz-laden rock and gifted songwriting with prophetic lyrics. This release contains 4 tracks from their singles, one alternate version of the single track and 5 unreleased songs. All recordings made between 1969-1971.

Levi Smith's Clefs, originally The Clefs, were an Australian R&B, pop rock group, which formed in Adelaide in 1963. Lead vocalist, Barrie "The Bear" McAskill, joined in 1965. In 1967 he took over and renamed the group after founding keyboardist, Winston "Tweed" Harris, left. They released a sole studio album, Empty Monkey, in March 1970 and underwent numerous line-up changes until they disbanded in 1972.

Hollywood Blues is the second album by British multi-instrumentalist and composer Johnny Almond, released under the moniker Johnny Almond Music Machine in 1970. The album was recorded in the United States, primarily at Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, and features a predominantly American West Coast rhythm section, including organist Charles Kynard, guitarist Joe Pass, bassist Ray Neapolitan, and drummers Earl Palmer and Joe Harris. Almond, who played saxophones, flute, vibraphone, and organ, was joined on the front line by saxophonists Hadley Caliman, Curtis Amy, and Vi Redd. The album, categorized under genres such as Soul Jazz, Jazz-Funk and Jazz-Rock, is noted for its funky, soulful, and jazzy character, showcasing Almond's distinctive European approach blended with American blues.
Johnny Almond (20 July 1946 - 18 November 2009) was a British saxophonist, who is best known for his recordings with the Alan Price Set, Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall and Mark-Almond.

The Survival of St. Joan is a rock opera by Smoke Rise (Gary Ruffin, Hank Ruffin, Stan Ruffin, and Randy Bugg, music composed by Hank and Gary) from an original concept and libretto by Off-Broadway playwright and screenwriter James Lineberger.
Smoke Rise was an American rock band in 1969-1972. In 1970, they created the first American rock opera, The Survival of St. Joan. Its members were brothers Hank Ruffin keyboards, Gary Ruffin guitar, Stan Ruffin drums and Randy Bugg bass guitar.

The band formed in Tallahassee, Florida, released their debut album titled February in 1973. The album features a blend of blues, psych rock, and Southern rock, showcasing the band's raw energy and original style. The group consisted of Patrick Muth on rhythm and lead guitar, harmonica, and vocals; Brewster Banks on bass guitar, piano, vocals and Wally Knoelke on drums, percussion and trumpet. The original LP was released on Newsouth Recordings in 1974, and a reissue was released on CD by Gear Fab Records in 2010. The album is considered a rare and sought-after release. The band disbanded in late 1975, after which Patrick Muth formed the bands Crybaby and The Cove Hotel Band, while Brewster Banks continued releasing music under various names.
