Julie Driscoll Tippett (born 8 June 1947) is an English singer and actress, known for her work with Brian Auger and her husband, Keith Tippett.
Brian Albert Gordon Auger (born 18 July 1939) is an English jazz rock and rock music keyboardist who specialises in the Hammond organ. 
Brian Auger and the Trinity was a British band led by keyboardist Brian Auger. Brian Auger and the Trinity with Driscoll's joint album Open, was released in 1967. 
Brian Auger with Driscoll and the band Trinity, he went on to record a cover version of David Ackles' "Road to Cairo" and Bob Dylan's "This Wheel's on Fire", which appeared on Dylan Covered. The latter track was a number 5 pop hit in the UK. Auger and Driscoll stopped working together after the 1969 album Streetnoise, but reunited for the 1978 album Encore.

Truth is the debut album by Jeff Beck, released in 1968 in the United Kingdom on Columbia Records and in the United States on Epic Records. It introduced the talents of his backing band the Jeff Beck Group, specifically Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood.
Beck-Ola is the second studio album, and the first credited to the Jeff Beck Group. It was released in June 1969.

Reissue, originally released in 1972. After playing in psych act Tangerine Peel, bassist Warwick Rose formed Ro Ro with frontman Alan Ross, filling out the line-up with former Animals guitarist John Weider, ex-Jeff Beck/Juicy Lucy drummer Rod Coombes, and the expressive keyboardist Neil Sheppard to craft the masterful debut Meet At The Water, released on EMI's Regal Zonophone in 1972. Despite the excellence of the material, which ranges from blues ballads to introspective prog, it soon became unjustly obscure. This is a rare and refined prog/blues-rock LP.

Mark Farner and Don Brewer, both former members of Grand Funk Railroad, released an album titled "Monumental Funk" in 1974. This album was released to capitalize on their fame from Grand Funk Railroad.
"Monumental Funk" features Mark Farner on guitar, harmonica, keyboards, and vocals, and Don Brewer on drums and vocals. The album includes six tracks, showcasing their musical talents before their association with Capitol Records.
The album is considered significant as it demonstrates that Mark Farner was a major talent even before Grand Funk Railroad gained widespread recognition.
Grand Funk Railroad, formed in 1969, was known for their hard rock and classic rock style. They were one of the most successful American rock bands of the 1970s, selling over 25 million albums worldwide.

Supertramp were one of the first groups to be signed to the UK branch of A&M Records and their first album, Supertramp, was released on 14 August 1970. Stylistically, the album was fairly typical of progressive rock of the era. Palmer left the band in December 1970, followed by Millar in January 1971, who had suffered a nervous breakdown.

For the next album, Indelibly Stamped, released in June 1971 in both the UK and US. Frank Farrell (bass, keyboards, backing vocals) joined, while Hodgson switched to guitar and Davies served as a second lead singer. With Palmer's departure, Hodgson and Davies wrote and composed separately for this and the band's subsequent albums. The record sold even less than their debut. In the aftermath, all members gradually quit except Hodgson and Davies.

Kick Out the Jams is the debut album by American rock band MC5. A live album, it was recorded at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit over two nights, October 30 and 31, 1968, and released in February 1969, by Elektra Records. MC5 was an American rock band formed in Lincoln Park, Michigan, in 1963. The classic lineup consisted of vocalist Rob Tyner, guitarists Wayne Kramer and Fred "Sonic" Smith, bassist Michael Davis, and drummer Dennis Thompson.

Blodwyn Pig was a British blues rock band, founded in 1968 by guitarist–vocalist–songwriter Mick Abrahams. Abrahams left Jethro Tull after their debut album, This Was, was released, due to a falling-out with Tull vocalist Ian Anderson over the direction of the band. He formed Blodwyn Pig with Jack Lancaster (saxophone and flute), Andy Pyle (bass guitar), and Ron Berg (drums). Blodwyn Pig recorded two albums, Ahead Rings Out in 1969 and Getting to This in 1970.

The Philosopher's Stone is a compilation album by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison released in 1998.
The songs released on this 2-CD thirty-track album were previously unreleased outtakes from 1969 to 1988. The album features twenty-five songs that had never been released, and early alternative renditions of "The Street Only Knew Your Name" from Inarticulate Speech of the Heart, "Wonderful Remark" from The Best of Van Morrison, "Real Real Gone" from Enlightenment, "Joyous Sound" and "Flamingos Fly" from A Period of Transition, and "Bright Side of the Road" from Into the Music.
Three songs on the album were evidently intended for Morrison's unreleased 1975 album Mechanical Bliss. "Twilight Zone", "Foggy Mountain Top" and "Flamingos Fly" were all mixed in 1974 just before Mechanical Bliss was due to come out.
