Geordie is a hard/glam rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England, United Kingdom, that was formed in 1971 under the name U.S.A. The band changed its name to Geordie in 1972.
The line up of Geordie was stable from 1971 to 1975. It consisted of vocalist Brian Johnson, main songwriter and guitarist Vic Malcolm, bass guitarist Tom Hill and drummer Brian Gibson. The band released two albums with that line up, Hope You Like It in 1973 and Don't Be Fooled By The Name in 1974...

Band from Minneapolis that were originally named The Sir Raleighs as a frequent house band at North Minneapolis club The Depot. They were later to become Copperhead and were rechristened again as "Minnesoda" for Capitol Records. The group’s radical musical approach had an underlying influence of jazz music mixed with progressive rock and funk, with unique and philosophical songwriting. This compilation of songs written and recorded, but never before released, by Minnesoda (aka Copperhead), except for a single sided from 1971 "Copperhead - Waiting Line", tracks: 2,3,11.

In 1965, Steve Miller and keyboardist Barry Goldberg formed the Goldberg-Miller Blues Band and began playing on the Chicago club scene. They signed with Epic Records and released only single "The Mother Song". 
Miller was disappointed by the Chicago blues scene, headed to San Francisco. After arriving to see the Butterfield Blues Band and Jefferson Airplane at the Fillmore Auditorium. He fell in love with the vibrant San Francisco music scene and decided to stay. In 1966, he formed the Steve Miller Band (at first called The Steve Miller Blues Band)...

German heavy prog rock band which included all "Lucifer's Friend" musicians except John Lawton. In 2004 Electric Food and Flash were released on one CD by Mason Records. Soon after its releases, the core of band formed Asterix. Less than a year later Asterix would change their name to Lucifer's Friend.
