The Progressive Blues Experiment is the unauthorized debut album by American blues rock musician Johnny Winter. He recorded it in August 1968 at the Vulcan Gas Company, an Austin music club, with his original trio of Tommy Shannon on bass guitar and John "Red" Turner on drums. The album features a mix of Winter originals and older blues songs, including the standards "Rollin' and Tumblin'", "Help Me" and "Forty-Four".

Sam Samudio, (born Domingo Samudio on February 28, 1937, in Dallas, Texas), is a retired American rock and roll singer best known by his stage name Sam the Sham.  He was the lead vocalist and bandleader of the 1960s band Sam the Sham & The Pharaohs. He was inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame in 2016.

Chubby Checker (real name: Ernest Evans, born October 3, 1941) American rock’n’roll singer, best known for popularizing the "Twist" dance craze with his 1960.
Chequered! is a studio album released by American singer Chubby Checker. Released by London Records in 1971, it is notable for being a stylistically different approach for Checker, opting for the more psychedelic sound that was popular at the time. Therefore the album did not sell well in its initial release.
Notes: Originally recorded and released in 1971 in Europe as “Chequered!”.
Reissued several times under various titles or eponymously, with slightly altering track sequence.

The Plastic Ono Band's live album Live Peace in Toronto 1969 was recorded on 13 September 1969 at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival held at Varsity Stadium, University of Toronto. It was the debut public performance of the Plastic Ono Band, a group hastily assembled by John Lennon and Yoko Ono after receiving a last-minute invitation from festival promoters John Brower and Kenny Walker.
