The Stalk-Forrest Group was a pre-cursor to Blue Öyster Cult, featuring the same line-up (except for bassist Andy Winters). They recorded one album in 1970, but their label decided not to release it. The group changed their name to Blue Öyster Cult the following year and replaced Winters with Joe Bouchard. The album was finally given official release in 2001.
