Hungarian Rock Musical

LINK

An imaginary report on an American rock festival (Hungarian: Képzelt riport egy amerikai popfesztiválról) is a Hungarian musical by composer Gábor Presser, lyricist Anna Adamis and book writer Sándor Pós based on the short novel of the same name by Tibor Déry. The musical premiered in 1973, and being the first successful Hungarian rock musical (and also Presser's first theatrical work) opened the way for popular music to Hungarian theatres and literature. It is set in a U.S. rock festival and tells a story of a married Hungarian immigrant couple.
*Locomotiv GT (often abbreviated LGT, and sometimes using the nickname Loksi) was a Hungarian rock band formed in 1971. Starting out as a progressive rock band, they later experimented with many other styles including jazz, funk, and pop.

Psychedelic Rock, Prog Rock

Founded in Montreal, Canada in 1967 (as "Les Maitres") - Disbanded in1990 - Reunited in 1995 and again in 2018.
This Quebecois band has three phases. First came the psych period under which they were known as Morse Code Transmission and made two psych albums in 71 and 72 sung in English. Highly collectible but somewhat out of the scope of this site. The second phase saw their names shortened and with the Quebec prog explosion under way decided to switch to French singing...
