The Vagrants were an American, Long Island-based rock and blue-eyed soul group, formed in 1964. The group was composed of Peter Sabatino on vocals, harmonica, and tambourine, Leslie West on vocals and guitar, Larry West (Leslie's brother) on vocals and bass guitar, Jeremy Storch on organ, and Roger Mansour on drums. In 1969, guitarist Leslie West left to form the power-band Mountain, that became famous with Felix Pappalardi, on bass and vocals.

Jane is a German progressive rock krautrock band, that was formed in October 1970 in Hanover, Germany. Together is the first official album by the  band, Jane, released in 1972. The album is a landmark of the Krautrock and heavy prog rock scene, blending blues-based progressive rock with psychedelic and space rock elements. It features prominent organ work by Werner Nadolny, guitar solos by Klaus Hess, and the distinctive, emotionally raw vocals of Bernd Pulst. Jane continues to bear the torch of the early seventies Krautrock phenomenon and continues in that spirit to this day in three different guises led by original members.
