Joachim Kurt Kühn (born 15 March 1944) is a German jazz pianist. Joachim Kühn plays on the springfever as well as unleashed on the keyboards in the borderland between jazz and rock. He is supported by one of the best rhythm sections of the 70s, John Lee an Bass and Gerald Brown drums.

The legendary first album aka. "The Red Album" is debut album, released in 1975. It was self-produced and initially released on the Solar Records label. The band, led by Matt Minglewood, was named after its founding member, who had previously been part of the band "Sam Moon and the New Broom," which was later rechristened "Moon, Minglewood And The Universal Power". The Red Album was followed by a self-titled second album in 1978, which was released under RCA Records and achieved gold status. The Minglewood Band was signed to RCA in 1979, and their music blended elements of rock, country, and blues. The band was active from 1969 to 1986, and after their breakup, Matt Minglewood continued his career as a solo artist...
