This unique sessions will appeal to fans of The Pretty Things, 1960’s psychedelic rock.
The Pretty Things, a British rock band, adopted the alias "The Electric Banana" for a series of recordings made during the mid-1960s. These sessions were primarily created as incidental music for film soundtracks and were released under the DeWolfe Sound Library label. The band's story began in 1967, when a down-on-their-luck Pretty Things took a job working for the music library firm De Wolfe tracking songs for potential use as incidental music in swinging '60s films, working with the Reg Tilsley orchestra...
Reg Tilsley Orchestra refers to the musical ensemble led by British composer and conductor Reginald Longueville Tilsley (16 August 1926 – 15 October 1987), known for its contributions to library music, which has been featured in various films and television programs.
