Ashkan - In From The Cold (1969/2005) Decca/Nova UICY-9513

MP3/320Kbs/146MB
Psychedelic/Progressive Blues Rock

Led by future Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Weston, Ashkan were together for only a matter of months before imploding. However, they did leave behind a small but perfectly-formed legacy in the shape of in from the Cold, a blistering, 52-minute slab of turn-of-the-decade British Psychedelic/Progressive Blues Rock. With Weston's frenzied, proto-Metal guitar heroics matched all the way by Steve Bailey's powerful, Spooky Tooth-style lead vocals, the album received encouraging reviews, only for the band to split on the eve of it's release.

Tracks:
1. Going Home 6:35
2. Take These Chains 4:27
3. Stop (Wait And Listen) 5:51
4. Backlash Blues 7:42
5. Practially Never Happens 5:56
6. One Of Us Two 5:43
7. Slightly Country 2:56
8. Darkness 12:10

Personnel:
Steve Bailey - lead vocals
Ron Bending - bass guitar, vocals
Bob Weston - guitar, mandolin, vocals
Terry Sims - drums, percussion
