The Best of 3 Dog Night is the fifteenth album (compilation) by the American rock band and is a double album released in 1982. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on May 1, 1996. Three Dog Night is an American rock band formed in 1967, founded by vocalists Chuck Negron, Cory Wells, and Danny Hutton.
They initially went by the name Redwood. Shortly after abandoning the Redwood moniker in 1968, the vocalists hired a group of backing musicians – Ron Morgan on guitar, Floyd Sneed on drums, Joe Schermie from the Cory Wells Blues Band on bass, and Jimmy Greenspoon on keyboards – and soon took the name Three Dog Night. Morgan left the band before its first album was recorded. Michael Allsup was quickly recruited to replace Morgan on guitar...

Cora Ann Walton (aka. Koko Taylor) US R&B singer, sometimes referred to as "The Queen of Chicago Blues". Born September 28, 1928, Bartlett, Tennessee... Her 1985 album "Queen of the blues" won her a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Album that year. Performing till the end, she died after complications from surgery for gastrointestinal bleeding in 2009. Died June 03, 2009 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

A Long Time Comin' is the first album by American rock band the Electric Flag. The album, released in March 1968, was recorded between July 1967 and January 1968. The album was one of the first pop recordings to blend sound and voice samples with music. The album has a mix of musical styles, including soul along with blues and rock, with a horn section. It was voted number 4 from Colin Larkin's All Time Top 1000 Albums.

The Luv'd Ones were an American, all-female rock group, of the 1960s. 
Members: Char Vinnedge (born Charlotte Alyce Vinnedge, March 1, 1943, Niles, Michigan - died December 5, 1997, Dowagiac, Michigan) - vocals, lead guitar.
Chris Vinnedge (born Christine M. Vinnedge, May 25, 1950, Niles, Michigan - died January 16, 2004, Dowagiac, Michigan) - bass guitar. Mary Gallagher - rhythm guitar.
Faith Orem (born January 25, 1945, Niles, Michigan) - drums. After Luv'd Ones, Vinnedge founded the group Syrup. In 1971, she recorded an album, Nitro Function, with Billy Cox. In 1999 they released all of the Luv'd Ones' Dunwich Records singles and a large collection of their demos on the album Truth Gotta Stand.
