Pacific Gas And Electric's history dates from 1967 in Los Angeles. Self-taught guitarist Tom Marshall met bassist Brent Block at a party thrown by Block's former art teacher and formed a band then named "Pacific Gas and Electric Blues Band".

In 1968, the band name was shortened to "Pacific Gas And Electric", and included Allen, Cook, Marshall, Block, and guitarist Glenn Schwartz (also of James Gang and All Saved Freak Band). They released their first album, Get It On...

Juicy Lucy was a British blues rock band officially formed on 1 October 1969. After the demise of The Misunderstood, Juicy Lucy was formed by US-born steel guitarist Glenn Ross Campbell, and prolific Blackburn saxophonist Chris Mercer (born 1947). The group later recruited vocalist Ray Owen, guitarist Neil Hubbard, bassist Keith Ellis, and drummer Pete Dobson (born 1950). The band name was inspired by a character in The Virgin Soldiers (1966) by Leslie Thomas.

The band immediately notched a UK Top 20 hit with their cover version of the Bo Diddley composition "Who Do You Love?". Juicy Lucy released two albums the self-titled 1969 and Lie Back and Enjoy It 1970 on Vertigo. Amid multiple lineup changes, they released the 1971 Get a Whiff a This and the 1972 album Pieces. Juicy Lucy disbanded shortly thereafter. In 1995, Ray Owen resurrected the band's name and released further albums...

Mungo Jerry is the debut album by British rock band, released in 1970. The initial British release featured lettering on the front of the sleeve and a group photo inside which appeared to be three-dimensional when viewed through a pair of 3D red and green lenses included in the packaging.

Collegium Musicum was a Slovak art rock / progressive rock band formed by Marián Varga and Fedor Frešo in Czechoslovakia in late 1969, best known for their complex, predominantly instrumental compositions centred around Varga's keyboards/organ, and for their interpretations of classical works by Rimsky-Korsakov, Stravinsky, Bartók, and others. Public concert recorded in the Concert-hall of the Czechoslovak-Radio at Bratislava on July 21.-22. 07. 1973.
