Hoi’ Polloi is a rock, folk, and world music album released in 1972. "Indiana's fabled Hoi' Polloi lone 1972 self-titled album, recorded over spring break at Earlham College by means of between two stereo tape. SBB (Silesian Blues Band) - Follow My Dream / Welcome (2005) Metal Mind Productions

MP3/320Kbs/375MB
jazz-rock, prog rock, more like symphonic prog
SBB was one of the most popular super-groups in Poland and Europe in the 1970s.
The band was one of the forerunners of progressive rock and jazz-rock and attracted many influential jazz musicians, who often performed with the band. They have been performing over 45 years to date. SBB stands for Silesian Blues Band, but they sound more like symphonic prog and jazz rock, with lots of improvs at their shows. They played in several cities and smaller towns in Sweden already in 1975, and in Denmark at the Roskilde Festival in 1978. That's also when they played a lot of then West German cities, as well as Esbjerg in Denmark...

Faces - Stray Singles & B-Sides (2015) Warner Bros. Records - 081227954239-5

MP3/320Kbs/125MB
Classic Rock
This CD "Stray Singles & B-Sides", brings together the nine single sides issued during Faces' lifetime such as the studio recording of "Maybe I'm Amazed" and a live cover from Reading Festival (the same venue as "Jealous Guy") of The Temptations' shattering "I Wish It Would Rain," complete with brass. Stewart, Wood, Jones, McLagan and Lane's replacement Tetsu Yamauchi's catchy (and surprisingly string-laden) "You Can Make Me Dance, Sing or Anything..." is presented in its full U.K. single version along with Stewart and Wood's soulful, Memphis-inspired B-side, "As Long As You Tell Him." The latter single was released early in 1975 in the U.S. by the time the year was out, Faces was officially no more.
After lead singer/guitarist Steve Marriott left that group Small Faces, the remaining Small Faces members: Ian McLagan (keyboards), Ronnie Lane (bass) and Kenney Jones (drums and percussion) -- were joined by Ronnie Wood (guitar) and Rod Stewart (lead vocals), both from the Jeff Beck Group, and the new line-up was renamed the Faces.

MP3/320Kbs/99MB
Hard Rock, Heavy Prog
This is the first studio album by Wishbone Ash. It peaked at number 29 in the UK Albums Chart in January 1971.
The history of Wishbone Ash goes back to 1966, when drummer Steve Upton of the "Scimitars" joined bassist Martin Turner and Martin's brother Glen in the band "The Empty Vessels". The trio named themselves "Tanglewood" and moved to London. Glen Turner quit soon and was replaced by Ted Turner of Birmingham band "King Biscuit". The line-up was finalised by guitarist Andy Powell (Ex-Sugarband). The two guitarists developed a melodic twin guitar lead style that would become the trademark of "Wishbone Ash"...
