Blues Roots is a studio album by musician Ike Turner. The album was released on United Artists Records in June 1972. Blues Roots was a side project recorded in 1971 and 1972 at Turner's studio, Bolic Sound, in Inglewood, California. Blues Roots was reissued by BGO Records in 2012 on the double CD Blues Roots / Bad Dreams.
"Blues Roots" is notable for its authentic blues sound and Turner's ability to blend traditional blues elements with his own unique style. The album features Turner's prowess as a guitarist and pianist, along with his strong vocal performances. The inclusion of Willie Dixon's compositions adds to the album's credibility and depth in the blues genre. Crazy Horses is the fourth studio album by the American singing group The Osmonds, released in 1972. Crazy Horses album was the band's first personal statement – the brothers have been quoted as saying that the title song refers to air pollution from cars, and its instrumentation featured an even harder rock sound bordering on early heavy metal. They wrote all the songs and played all the instruments with Alan on rhythm guitar, Wayne on lead guitar, Merrill on lead vocals and bass, Jay on drums and Donny on keyboards, all of the brothers sang backing vocals and an occasional lead on album cuts.

Vincent Lee Moses (March 13, 1941 – January 26, 1998), known as Lee Moses, was an American R&B and soul singer and guitarist. 
Time and Place, Lee Moses's debut and only album, released in 1971 on Maple Records. It includes his versions of several classic songs of the period, such as "Hey Joe" and "California Dreaming", are highly regarded within the deep soul genre. Recorded with a band including members of The Ohio Players and Moses’ own backing group The Deciples. Time And Place soon became a much-sought after item for collectors, and its cult has continued to grow over the years.

The Best of 3 Dog Night is the fifteenth album (compilation) by the American rock band and is a double album released in 1982. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on May 1, 1996. Three Dog Night is an American rock band formed in 1967, founded by vocalists Chuck Negron, Cory Wells, and Danny Hutton.
They initially went by the name Redwood. Shortly after abandoning the Redwood moniker in 1968, the vocalists hired a group of backing musicians – Ron Morgan on guitar, Floyd Sneed on drums, Joe Schermie from the Cory Wells Blues Band on bass, and Jimmy Greenspoon on keyboards – and soon took the name Three Dog Night. Morgan left the band before its first album was recorded. Michael Allsup was quickly recruited to replace Morgan on guitar...

The Luv'd Ones were an American, all-female rock group, of the 1960s. 
Members: Char Vinnedge (born Charlotte Alyce Vinnedge, March 1, 1943, Niles, Michigan - died December 5, 1997, Dowagiac, Michigan) - vocals, lead guitar.
Chris Vinnedge (born Christine M. Vinnedge, May 25, 1950, Niles, Michigan - died January 16, 2004, Dowagiac, Michigan) - bass guitar. Mary Gallagher - rhythm guitar.
Faith Orem (born January 25, 1945, Niles, Michigan) - drums. After Luv'd Ones, Vinnedge founded the group Syrup. In 1971, she recorded an album, Nitro Function, with Billy Cox. In 1999 they released all of the Luv'd Ones' Dunwich Records singles and a large collection of their demos on the album Truth Gotta Stand.

Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs were an American rock and roll band from Dallas, Texas, known for their hit song "Wooly Bully," which was the number one song of 1965 according to Billboard magazine's year-end Hot 100.
The band was formed by lead singer Domingo "Sam" Samudio, better known by his stage name Sam the Sham (February 28, 1937 in Dallas, Texas, United States) in 1961. They were active until 1967 and were associated with genres such as garage rock, rock and roll, and proto-punk. The original lineup of the band included Carl Miedke, Russell Fowler, Omar "Big Man" Lopez, and Vincent Lopez.
 However, the lineup changed over time, and the band consisted of members like Andy Kuha, Anthony Gerace, Billy Bennett, Butch Gibson, David Martin, Frank Carabetta, Jerry Patterson, Ray Stinnett, and Sam Samudio. Some of their other notable songs include "The Hair on My Chinny Chin Chin" and "Betty and Dupree".
 The band toured the world as a supporting act for The Beach Boys, Peter And Gordon, James Brown, Sonny And Cher, and many others. Sam the Sham, known for his camp robe and turban, would haul his equipment in a 1952 Packard hearse with maroon velvet curtains.
