Mashmakhan/The Family (2006) Black Rose Records - BR 188

MP3/320Kbs/204MB
Psychedelic Progressive Rock

The 2006 release of Mashmakhan / The Family is a compilation CD that combines two albums by the Canadian rock band Mashmakhan: their self-titled debut album Mashmakhan and their second album The Family. This compilation was released on Black Rose Records in the United States and features a total of 17 tracks from both albums and "plus" my hidden track.
Mashmakhan debuted in 1970 with three singles, "As the Years Go By", the song reached No. 1 in Canada, and the Top 40 in the United States. The song was also a major hit in Japan. Mashmakhan later launched their second album, The Family in 1971, which had little-to-no success, Mashmakhan started to realise that fact, and broke up shortly after. However, the last track, "Mr. Tree", was cut off due to time restraints from The Famaly album.
