Stone The Crows - Ontinuous Performance (1972/1997) Repertoire REP 4627-WY

MP3/320Kbs/95MB
Strong Blues Rock, Heavy Rock

Ontinuous Performance is the fourth studio album by Scottish band Stone the Crows.
Despite Ontinuous Performance entering the Top 40, and Bell being voted Britain’s best female vocalist in a Melody Maker poll, the album and its associated tour left Bell with the feeling that it “was never going to work out”, citing “attitudes” that she doesn’t feel the need to revisit. Allen feels that industry politics was at play, and a disagreement with Leahy may have been used as a lever to split the band.
Harvey’s final recordings came out on Stone The Crows’ fourth album, Ontinuous Performance (the title inspired by a broken venue sign), released four months after his death, and included two guitar tracks from McCulloch. The record closed with Sunset Cowboy, a personal tribute to Harvey.

02. One More Chance (Leahy) – 6:08

MP3/320Kbs/85MB
Blues-rock incorporating Funk and Soul elements

Bo Diddley's album "The Black Gladiator" was released in June 1970 and marked a shift in his musical style, incorporating funk and soul elements while retaining his blues roots. It was recorded in response to the changing music scene of the late 1960s, where Bo Diddley aimed to modernize his blues-rock sound with a funk edge. The album includes ten tracks, with notable songs such as "Elephant Man", "I've Got A Feeling", "Funky Fly" and "I Don’t Like You" which showcase Diddley's humor and musical prowess. The cover art features Bo Diddley wearing a leather belt and a pseudo-S&M outfit, which was a bold statement at the time. There are raw gospel shouts, ripping guitar, fatback drums, gritty Hammond organ, and even a round of the dozens with Cookie Vee. (Cookie Vee, whose real name was Cornelia Redmond-Chavez, was a background singer and performer who toured with Bo Diddley for over 25 years.)
